Tipsoo Lake is a beautiful alpine lake day use area located at the Chinook Pass summit inside Mount Rainier National Park.  Facilities include parking, restrooms, picnicking and hiking trails.  Visitors can hike a short nature trail around the lake with outstanding views of Mount Rainier and other Cascade mountain peaks.  Brilliant wildflowers rim the lakeshore each summer.  Optimal fall color viewing is best from early October until the first snowfall.
